Birthday Parties and Waiting

Jenna has had two birthday parties to attend in the past two weekends. Last weekend she had a Princess tea party to attend for her friend Samantha and now this weekend she is going to a party for her friend Cate that is also a dress up party. How fun!!
Jenna has been patiently waiting for her dance class to start. The owner is building a new studio downtown that was scheduled to open in September but classes have now been pushed back to start the week of October 22nd. This is hard for Jenna to understand as we drive by the studio every week when she goes to pre school. Pre school is going well she went on a field trip this last week to the apple orchard. I volunteered to help and it was a COLD day.

On another note Jenna has started speech classes also this week her speech teacher is working on the letter S and has sent home a couple of fun games to work on at home. So we are having to do a little homework that is very interesting. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will be able to post some pictures of Jenna in her dance attire. tu tu and all

First day of Preschool !

Jenna started preschool on Tuesday September 11th. She decorated her school bag with sponge painting and is very proud of her beautiful school bag. She is in the room Under the Big Top and her teacher is Miss Lori. I have attached some pictures of the big day it was a very windy day so we took pictures inside this year.

Welcome to Guping Girl, I thought I would try a Blog. I picked Guping Girl because we adopted our daughter Jenna from China in 2004 and she was born in Guiping. Most of my time is spent with our active four year old who we adore. Our family enjoys learning more of the Chinese culture and meeting others who have also adopted from China. I will post some pictures later after I fiugre that part out.
